Mixing Up Marketing Strategies to Make One Stronger

You might be familiar about the idea of synergies. If you aren't, synergies can be easily explained by using "1+1=3" as an analogy. However, if you still don't get what it means, in the simplest sense it's combining 2 identical things (like processors of computers for example) which results into a single but a more powerful one compared to the two of them working separately.

There are online marketing plan that when combined work to develop a synergy. These marketing strategies I'm talking about are local search marketing and social media marketing.

Wonder why they combine to make one stronger marketing plan? Continue reading because I'll be elaborating it below.

The main reason why they combine to make one stronger marketing strategy is because they complement each other. Local search results are influenced by one specific standard called reputation. Good reputation is rewarded by better search results while bad rep of course equates to demerits or bad search ranks. Rep can improve in a variety of ways but what's most popular are through using online directories, websites, and lastly being consistent which is by the way considered as the best way to improve rep.

Coincidentally, social media marketing provides just that. Once a social media marketing strategy is well established, it feeds your business good reputation which in turn rewards you with better ranks in the local search results.

We know that the best way to gauge the success of a local search marketing plan is through the rank that it provides the business in the search results. In short, because social media marketing feeds the rep that local search marketing needs, it results to better page ranks which ultimately results to a stronger marketing strategy.

There may still be other marketing methods that we could combine in order to make stronger local marketing strategies. As long as they complement each other there's a large chance that they'll display synergy.

Lastly, if you do discover one don't forget to post it in the net for the whole community to read. The development of new marketing strategies today is the result of the collaboration of different online marketers. Wouldn't it be nice to contribute one for the community?
