Jersey City new Toyota dealers to have Prius additions

The Prius family is creating a buzz in the auto industry, and although some are not as impressed as I am with the contest to choose a plural name for the Prius (personally, I prefer Prii), the level of fuel economy is turning some heads.

YourJersey City new car dealers are confident that customers will be impressed with the new array of (whatever the plural of Prius turns out to be). Toyota's U.S. sales chief, Bob Carter, spoke to the press recently and said that the Prius Family will be "the number one nameplate in the industry" by the year 2020.

I can't really argue with that, as it makes a lot of sense. Look at what the current Prius models are doing sales-wise and in ballooning into cult status. Another perk would be the possible production of these hybrids right here in the good ol' U.S. A. This will makeJersey City buyers feel even more positive about their Prius purchases.

Many things might happen in the Prius family in the coming years. One likely move will be to expand the Plug-In Prius technology to other cars in the clan. Adding more size choices also would bode well for Toyota, as the current Prius models don't offer a lot of leeway there.

Regarding the expansion of Prius production, Carter said, "We've got to understand where the volumes are once we introduce this vehicle to the market before we take that next step." The Plug-in version is expected to sell well, Toyota projects 12,000-20,000 vehicles to find owners in the first year of sales.

Introduction of the Prius Plug-in will be gradual, with 14 coastal states that enforce a zero-emission law being the first to receive this car.

The Prius Plug-in will go on the market in the first part of 2012. With gasoline prices moving steadily upward and consumers worrying about the cost of fuel, the Plug-in should have no trouble making inroads and yourJersey City new car dealer will help you get one as soon as possible.
