Egyptian jewelry was also famous for its shine, rarity, and workability of gold. They gathered gold from African deserts and molded it into different patterns styles and designs of gold.
Throughout history Roman brooches were much more famous. Initially they were made for practical purpose that is to hold the flowing clothes. For its preparation different materials and textures were used like gold, bones, glass and pearls.
In Mesopotamia, jewelry was manufactured from metals with bright colored stones like agates, lapis, carnelian and jasper. It was created both to adorn humans and statues. Greeks used gold, silver, ivory gems, bronze and clay. Later they adopted eastern patterns.
