Mac vs Pc? It's a age old question from the time computers first made it into our homes. Which would you choose? What are the pros and cons of each machine?
The statistics show that Apple Macs only claim 10% of the market, with PC's and Microsoft claiming the rest. This is largely due the their different business models. Microsoft created operating systems and licensed it to multiple PC manufacturers, IBM, Dell, HP etc..The competition between these companies lead to PC's becoming cheaper and cheaper, therefore enabling PC's to be more accessible to the man on the street. Meanwhile Apple took a different direction, their operating systems were designed to be compatible with only their hardware and therefore they sold less but kept their prices high to make up the difference.

Mac or PC
It is generally assumed that Mac users are designer types, artists, musicians and the like. While PC users are stiff business bores. Although you may find these stereotypes amusing, they couldn't be more wrong.
Nowadays the capabilities of both machines is staggering. Although the functionality of the machines essentially achieves the same goals, the operating platforms certainly have their differences.These differences include the layout and function of any given application, i.e Internet Explorer or Safari. With both of these programs achieving the same thing, in the end it comes down to the personal choice of the user.
Mac vs PC, is therefore not the huge debate it used to be. No one machine is better or worse. All it really boils down to, is what your main purpose for the computer is? And how much money you have to spend?
It is generally assumed that Macs are better for design, music, video, etc.. And of course usage with Iphones, Ipods and Ipads. While PCs usage also covers the same, although to a perhaps lesser extent, PCs are better for a more broad usage spectrum.
