Stress doesn't only disturb the mind; it can also have some unpleasant effect on your body if left unrestrained. Even if you are mentally capable of doing all your undertakings, there is a likelihood that your body is not fit enough to cope with the weight you are exposing it to. If you push it to the limit, then you will surely have a breakdown that might disable you forever. All of us have our boundaries. Like your mind, your body can only take so much until it breaks down.

The Body and Stress:

Stress affects people in different ways depending on the state of the body. The most common complaint attached to mental stress is migraine or headache. Also some minor cramps, aches and pains in the back, shoulders, and various other parts of the body. Also there is a chance that stress can disturb the body chemistry as well. Too much brain activity can lead to faintness, nausea, diarrhoea, and constipation.

Stress and Behaviour

If you have severe stress you might tend to act in a rash manner. Also subject to the level of stress you have, you might have trouble sleeping, or you might no longer want to sleep in the evening because you tend to think more of your problems when you are in bed during the night. Unconsciously, your body would slowly get sluggish by day and remain active at night. Stress can also affect your emotional state. You will either go into depression and self-absorption; or give in to your anger by venting it out on everyone around you.

Stress Management Coping With Your Problems:

Stress begins in the mind so it is up to you to take the essential steps to train your mind on how to deal with your problems when they show up. Establishing what causes your stress is the first step to banishing it.

If you suffer from stress it is vital that you undertake stress management to help you relax even when you are overwhelmed with problems. You can take more time with your favourite hobby to distract your mind and assist it to relax. Looking at movies and listening to your favourite music is also good for keeping your stress level in check. Good Luck!
