A resume is the key to open the door to getting you an interview. That is why you have to look at it like the other person (i.e. Hiring Manager or Human Resources Department) would. Be ready to answer questions on your resume, particularly on your past experience. Try to come up with situations that might be applicable to the position. Even if you have never come across them, you can clearly say that although you have never experienced that, this what you would do. It is important for them to know that your answer does not imply that it will never happen to you, but say that if ever confronted with that scenario, this is how you would handle it.
