The Instance quests is one of the most important things when you are instance leveling in World of Warcraft, and most people tend to forget about them. Every single instance in the game will have quests that you can accept and complete inside the instance. The instance quests can actually double your experience per hour if you are doing it the right way.
Accepting The Instance Quests
The best way of leveling in Cataclysm is when you queue up for a random instance and go around solo questing while waiting for the queue to pop. This is quite useful if you are a DPS class because the queue will be longer than if you were a tank or a healer. So if you are a Damage dealing class, you should not just stand around in Orgrimmar / Stormwind and just wait for the queue. Go out in the world and do the quests in the zone which fits your level right. Healers and Tanks might not have this "problem" but the queue time will vary a lot depending on which server you play on, which faction you play and at which hours you are playing. So if you have a queue time that's over 2-3 minutes, I would recommend that you go out and do quests, if the queue is short then you could at least grind some mobs because 7-8 mobs while in the queue will add up to quite a lot if you think about it.
Most of the quests will be found within the instance, but there are some which you have to be outside or at a close area to the instance to find the quests. Some are Horde only and others are Alliance only so I recommend that you Google and see if you are able to do the quests. But most of the time, they are doable for all factions. You should head to the place where you manually go into the instance while you are waiting in the dungeon queue, because if you join an instance with the dungeon finder tool then you won't be able to go out of the instance. This is why you have to travel here using your mount or running if you are below level 20. Once you find the instance then you will be able to see yellow exclamation marks on your mini map, this is where you can accept the instance quests.
Sharing Quests
There is a feature which allows you to share quests with your party members, they can also do the same, so always share your instance quests with your party members and ask them if they got any to share, this will save you some traveling time and make the overall leveling speed increase. Be sure to share your quests before asking others to do because this will increase the chance of them sharing their quests with you.
