People also tend to ask for your Gear level or Gear score which can make or break your way into raids, it doesn't matter how high dps you do, you need an average of X gear level to enter dungeon Y.
Daily Questing With Professions
Another great thing about the daily quests is that if you have a certain profession, Alchemy for example, you will get some sweet recipes that's only obtainable from doing daily quests. Jewel Crafters are currently making a killing on gems that you get by doing daily quests, this also works perfect for cookers and fishers.
Reputation with Daily Questing
Another reason for why people are doing dailies is that you earn reputation with different factions. The Reputation will allow you to buy some special items, such as recipes, designs, food, potions, or just plain awesome gear. You will also be able to buy Item Enchantments such as the leg armor. This is basically an enchant that you can put on either your shoulders, your legs, or your head.
