The Next Step: Outsourcing Your Blog For Automated Passive Income

At this stage, it's easy to get carried away with making money online and forget the purpose of this choice of lifestyle design to afford us a life of freedom. As entrepreneurs, our time at the start of this journey is often consumed by starting the business on a tight budget with a few simple tools. As time goes by, we need to consider automating many of the more tedious tasks to enable us to spend more time on our passions and therefore continue to provide great content. It can also afford you the time to get started on your next project if you choose.

This process of automating simple tasks will allow us to turn our profitable business into an automated, scalable form of passive income. Many people even take the option to outsource their blog posts. This is something I have not used myself as I believe it would take away some of the essence of the blog.

The main areas I do outsource are my graphic design tasks. For me to do this work myself, not only would I have to purchase a program like Adobe Photoshop for around $900, but I would also have to spend time/money training myself to use the application. After all this, I may still produce an inferior product to someone who works on Photoshop all day, every day. It would be wasteful of me not to take advantage of this opportunity, for both my finances and my time-management.

Further tasks I can recommend outsourcing include the purchasing of domains, the setup of Wordpress and the installation of selected plugins, but only once you have experienced carrying out these tasks yourself. These are all tasks I have completed myself many times, which puts me in a great position to explain how I would like the assistants to carry out the tasks and to understand roughly how long the tasks should take, as I have been through the process myself.

When negotiating with virtual staff, it is important to remember that the few mistakes virtual staff make often comes from clients not explaining clearly what they would like assistants to do. Remember that these guys are experts at carrying out simple tasks effectively - you have to match this professionalism by creating clear, detailed task lists for your staff to work from.

The outsourcing company that I can very highly recommend is Elance.
