In this tutorial I will tell you how to use the Norelco HQ110 shaving head cleaner and lubricant. Using the hq110 is very simple. This is a head cleaner and lubricate that can be used on any shaver whether it is Norelco, Panasonic, Braun or Remington.
First step is to remove the head frame from the shaver. Once you have done that removie the retaining bracket and the blades assembly. Place the blades assembles on a piece of paper or a piece of towel. Once you safely removed the blades assembly remove the blades from the cones. Place them next to each other to not loose them. Now clean the insides of the cones and blades with a brush. You can use the water but brushing them is better and will remove much more of remains from the heads.
Once you completed to brush all the hair out of the cones and blades remove the cap from the HQ lubricate and evenly spray the cones and the blades on the towel and let them dry for about 2 to 3 minutes. It is important for the lubricant to evaporate.
When the blades and cones are dry simple put blades to the corresponding cones, and everything back into the head frame. Place the retaining bracket properly and give it a quarter turn counter clockwise to lock it in the place. Check if it is locked to don't loose blades and cones.
Congratulations! You have successfully cleaned and lubricated your shaver blades!
Now your shaving will be more efficent as there are no hair remains in blades and they can cut with more power.
