Cut down your expenses

In the previous article if you have been following, we lef off in a few money saving tips. I promised that I was going to be providing some more money saving tips in my next article. Remember that one of the best and most efficient ways to save money is actually spending on the things that you truly need. To start is good to have pen and paper ready to make a list from the biggest to the smallest things that are a necessity for you one a monthly basis, like a budget.

First try to make the comparison and understand the difference between needs and wants: It is vital, extremely important to identify your needs and wants. Needs are those that are necessary for you to be able to sustain on a monthly basis example: Food, clothes, shelter, transportation, etc... You can now figure out what would be your wants.

Second, think when buying those necessities. Like clothes, food etc... In reality, you don't need to buy a $100 dollar designer t-shirt if you can buy the same for $15 but without the famous name. The same thing goes to food when eating outside which shouldn't become a habit either. But you can spend $40 on a dinner for 2 or 3 instead of spending $100 on a dinner. It doesn't make sense.

Third, when purchasing something that you know cost a lot of money try shopping around for the best bargain. Look for coupons and deals on the Internet. Who knows what you can find. For example buying clothes you should buy next years summer clothes ahead of time, this way you will sure save money.

In these difficult times we all should think about saving money wherever possible. Don't stop enjoying but don't wash your pocket out in things that are not really necessary.

Bon Voyage!
