Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) To Free Yourself
The Tapping World Conference is going on as I write this but that is incidental. Many thousands will attend the event and a lot of information on tapping (EFT) will be presented. The thing is though, you can learn tapping in less than 5 minutes and you can begin to resolve issues that you may have had for many years.
EFT involves tapping at a number of acupuncture points on your head, face, and upper body. As you make the rounds of these tapping points you repeat your "setup phrase" over and over as you make the rounds. That is, you say it as you tap. And this is all there is to the procedure.
The tapping points are well known, and tapping is simply tapping with your fingers at each point. Your setup phrase is a simple statement of the problem and perhaps how it makes you feel. Then you follow it with a simple statement of self-acceptance like, "even though I have this problem, I completely love and accept myself."
You repeat this over and over as you make the rounds of the tapping points. As you make the rounds you will find your emotional response to the setup statement will lessen as the tapping begins to balance your energy.
As stated, the tapping points are acupuncture points. If you are not aware these points have been known in China for thousands of years and are energy points. This is why your energy is balanced as you tap.
That there are such energy points in the body goes against the western mind. The thing is that you don't have to believe for this to work, you just need to do it. The proof is in doing it. As you tap you will begin to feel it. Later you will see your problems resolving themselves in ways that you may not understand, just remember the cause and effect.
