Spartacus Gods of The Arena is an original series from Starz Television Network which was mad as a prequel to Spartacus Blood And Sand after the lead actor Andy Whitefield who stared as Spartacus health issues. Except from Whitefield, all the main characters star in Gods of the Arena too. It captures time before Spartacus came to the ludus as a rebellious Tracian , betrayed by the Romans, sold to slavery and separated from the love of his life.

In the previous episode there was a lot of usual struggle, Batiatus and Lucretia gave it the last try to convince Batiatus's father not to unresolve their marriage but without luck. In the end he got ill and then it is reveled that Lucretia had been poisoning his honeyed wine the whole time and this time she finishes him off but a situation gets an unexpected turn.
Doctores'a wife driven with passion goes to Ganicus baring the same honey wine and gets poisoned and dies also leaving a lot of questions unanswered.
In Spartacus Gods of The Arena Episode 6 The Bitter End Batiatus will seek vengeance for all that happened to him since the beginning of the series. Does that mean that he seeks vengeance even against his own wife for poisoning his father I highly doubt . That was probably a joint venture the whole time and even if not, Batiatus probably won't mind what happened if he figures it out what Lucretia did ( which I believe he will). The opening games of the new arena are also ahead in The Bitter End and the games promise an unseen spectacle of violence and blood. In the promo clips you see at one point that Doctore says to Ganicus when he doesn't want to fight then fight for her' which could mean he knows about his wife and Ganicus but it could also mean he meant it as a friend because she and Ganicus were good friends before all that happened between them.
