Tarot cards and what they mean to many people

While most people firmly believe that each card has a fixed meaning as defined by the artist I have never had to memorize the cards, with the exception of only a few of the Major Arcana. I will describe a different card as the artist has defined it but in a way that most people will understand in each article that I write

The Major Arcana 0 The Fool upright This represents a time when you can face something new with an open mind, and begin working on it. This card means that you do truly desire a change and will there for seek out a new challenge. You will also have sharper instincts and you will be more positive about starting something new, while often times this will bring out a hidden talent or improve on one that you have used before.

When the Fool is reversed (upside down) it has a different meaning. This would indicate that you need to stop and and take a good look at things in your life. Confront each problem as you see it, deal with it and think about what you are doing. When this card is upside down I would have to say that you are restless or even possibly careless and if you keep going that way you would find yourself disillusioned. When that happens you wil think that you must accept things for what they are and there by often times you will fail at what it is that you would like to do.
