There are millions of WoW players world wide, many leveling their characters every day, and the worst part is that most of them don't use a WoW quest addon. There are many things to do in the game but the main part is hitting level 85, this will take weeks if not months for both new and experienced players, there are thousands of quests in the game, some which makes your leveling easy and some are just hell.
Every player know how frustrating it is to just mindlessly run around looking for some mob that's not where its supposed to be, people ninjaing the quest items you need and just not getting that quest done. I probably spent 2 hours per level from 60+ doing the exact same thing.
After some time I got frustrated and tried searching for a better way, this is how I came over the WoW quest addon. Of course it wasn't perfect but it was a lot better than not having it. There are both Pro's and Con's to getting Quest Helper and I'll list a few below.
First the Pro's. With this Addon questing will be much easier, they will show you where to go, what to kill and how many items you need to get, and where to turn in the quests.
This is what most players need to make their leveling easier, a small push to get them over the edge. You can combine this with some other addons making it quite nice.
And here are the Con's. The thing which can make Quest helper inaccurate is that their information come from random users of the addon. This can make it hard to find different quest items and sometimes it just points you to the wrong direction. This can be more frustrating that when you don't have the addon because this will just piss you off. This is sadly true for these addons which use online databases, the free addons. Many of these addons will just make you more frustrated than before.
The best Addons are the so called "step by step" addons which are created by a single or a team of players, making it accurate 99.9% of the time, showing you step by step how to do everything and which quests to take and which to leave.
Sadly, these are never free because it took significant work from the author. There are some paid guides that mostly also come with some bonus guides that help you with making gold, dungeons and dailies, If you have problem leveling, or if you just think it could be done faster, you should look for a so called "Paid-addon."
