Tennis The Queen's tennis tournament in early June begins to warm up the tennis fans and the big event of the tennis year is the Wimbledon Championships which begins at the end of June and is played at The All England Lawn Tennis Club in London. Both events will have British racers, with Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button for the Formula 1 and Cal Crutchlow for the MotoGP. The British MotoGP is in early June and the Formula 1 is in early July.
Horse Racing There are several traditional horse racing events in the UK. The most famous of these are the Grand National in April, Royal Ascot in June and Cheltenham festival in March. These are great events in the social calendar incorporating a chance to dress up and drink a glass of champagne with the excitement of the horse race.
