Business cards are one of the most powerful business marketing elements. It is cheap, easy to use and have guaranteed that it will reach client. But dont make mistake. Though it is small piece of paper but it requires a little bit knowledge. Some of us use business cards templates free tools, but some knowledge about cards contentare necessary.Below I write few advices what good business cards should contain.
Name of Company
I think we all understand that card should contain name of company. Also I think that you will agree with me if I say that this is one of the most important elements. Without it client couldnt identify from which company they get this card.
Logo
Logos in my opinion is second very important element. It also shows from which company this card is. There is some opinions that brand companies can use logo instead of name, but I dont recommend doing this. If you decided to do this, then use smaller size font but write name.
Description of company
Write short description of your company. There should be short information about your services. You can ask why you need this. It is short answer nowadays new companies choose exotic and strange name which can interest people. But it has negative side. It is harder to identify what that company suggest, what services we can get from strange name company
Your position
Below your name write your position in that company. Maybe you are sales manager or director. This element helps to identify card owner.
Web Page Address
More and more businesses have their webpage. If your company has it, don't forget to include it in card. Web page address gives opportunity to your client better know you. They can read comments or scan your services catalog.
Email Address
It is also good to include email address, but it if wrote webpage address then people can find it in that webpage.
Phone Numbers
Contact information is very important. Write few phone numbers. It can be fax, office phone number or even your personal phone number. Don't write to much numbers it looks unprofessional.
When you design you card make sure that it contain these elements. Also check twice if they are all correct, especially phone numbers, email address.
