Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Introduces Bravia Mobile Technology

The year 2011 has marked the launch of many new high-end smart phones from companies like HTC and Samsung. However, the launch of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc from Sony Ericsson will easily overtake every single launch from the aforementioned companies because of the fact that this is one of the best phones ever made if not the best. It might be looking like a slight exaggeration, but the number of features in the phone will easily make you convince that it is really one. The phone was unveiled by Sony Ericsson at the CES 2011, but it had people talking about it till now. It is already a sign of success.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc will be coming with a 4.2 inch display that has probably just going to miss out on the title of being the largest screen display since the HTC Desire HD comes with a 4.3 inch display. However, the HTC phone cannot come close to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc when it comes to the features within the display. The feature list kicks off with the fact that this display will be powered by the Sony Bravia Mobile technology, which will be making its debut in the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. Apart from contributing for the enhanced display, this will also be permitting the power savings from the display. The phone will be using the Timescape user interface, but there are no details whether this user interface will be the latest version or the previously used one. Either way, it will be capable of running the Android 2.3 operating system in the best possible manner.

This is also due to the fact that this will be having the first dual core processor in a Sony Ericsson phone. This dual core processor will be clocked at 1 GHz and it is going to be assisted by the presence of RAM that is rated at 512 MB. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc will be coming with a complimentary 8 GB memory card along with the phone, although one can decide to use the 32 GB memory card up in the phone to increase the memory even further. This will certainly help alleviate the small internal memory of 320 MB that is present in the phone by default. The presence of the external memory card support is more than enough to satisfy every user's entertainment needs.

The Sony Ericsson phones have always been known for their camera quality and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc certainly does not disappoint in this regard. It will be coming with an eight megapixel unit that can record videos in the 720 p HD format. Even though it will be lacking the 1080 p video recording option, it will still be coming with plenty of options like the image stabilisation, touch focus and so on. The HDMI port in the phone can be used to transfer the HD videos that were recorded using the eight megapixel camera.
