Global warming and Ozone Depletion are the problems that are bothering most people and with such rapid development in all the technologies, the fear of growth and of this problem is in a lot of minds. The project of constructing a Rail route from New Delhi to JNPT Dedicated Freight Corridor has a lot of benefit for the country and as people we should but understand that with the rapid growth of environmental problems such projects would add to more future hazards for the surroundings and the people around.
According to the Reports 4.13 hectares of private forest land will be occupied and this will disturb the inhabitants of the area. The Sanjay Gandhi National Park and many others wildlife sanctuaries will be affected and this will lead to displacement of wild animals. They will be displaced and may interrupt the village's peace which also is a threat to humans. The project of the rail route would be of significant importance to us but its repercussions will lead to future problems. Though it will save many liters of fuel and the transport time, it will lead to grieve problems; this in turn will be a big threat to the bio-diversity of the nearby areas and forests. The plants and various trees will be required to cut off and this will lead to deforestation.
So we have to take sincere efforts to see the Flora and fauna is not been affected due to rail projects. They are the precious entities of our country. They cater to our various needs and so we should find an alternative option to see that forest life is not been disturbed and the Green Zone is remained intact. Since it is a big and an important rail project the impact on various areas and lives should be clearly studied in order to avoid any future problems.
