How do you define the word, Freedom? Everybody's definition is different of course.
The great spiritual leader, Mahatma Gandhi once said, "The moment the slave resolves that he will no longer be a slave, his fetters fall. Freedom and slavery are mental states."
So this is what I'm going to discuss today.
Now, I don't think that today we are free. I say this because we are slaved as soon as we awake in the morning to the sound of the alarm clock alerting us to the fact that we have a pressing matter to attend to which most always seems to serve someone or something other than ourselves. Go To Work! Speed limit 40mph, Dead End, No Entry, Do Not Turn, No U Turn, Don't fall asleep, No Parking, Speed Camera, We are Watching You! It's like a scene out of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.
We are no longer free to eat what we believe to be good for us because the local store and the local farmer has been forced out of business (which I think was no accident) Bse, & we are no longer free to think for ourselves because the TV does our thinking for us with constant junk advertising etc.
These are just a couple of examples but my question to you is, are you free?
You see, Freedom comes in all shapes and sizes. As I said earlier, it is different for everybody but, but I want to ask you, do you spend more time with your family than you do for your boss?
Can you sleep comfortably at night knowing that you set your own pace? If the answer is No, then maybe, you need to be set free and we can all do this by knowing what you are good at.
You see I'm not particularly great at many things but I am a good father, carpenter and speaker as I often hold talks and presentations to large audiences at my work where I mentor. I also, in my spare time that I HAVE MADE' like helping people to achieve their freedom by helping them create an online business. Some of these people already have an idea of freedom that they have wanted to develop further and I have helped them to.
We all have a sense of freedom inside us all and I want you to find yours. I found my freedom with the two outlets below which has enabled me to have a fuller life with my family & friends but also to allow me the Freedom that I have chosen',
