The two newest, ninth-generation Honda Civics are redesigned to be more fuel efficient than any other models before them. The Honda Civic HF and Honda Civic Hybrid are shaped and built to meet the needs of all customers looking for a compact sedan.
"We were happy to hear the official announcement that the new Civics will be coming to dealerships this spring," said Ray Brown, General Sales Manager of Huntington Honda. "As the push from consumers for more fuel efficient and economical vehicles grows, the 2012 Civics are the perfect answer as they both get on average more than 40 miles per gallon. When these sedans are available, we will showcase them so customers will know what amazing fuel economy options they have."
Honda Civic NY shoppers may want to know about the improved mpg available on both the 2012 Civic HF and Civic Hybrid. The Civic HF will be the most fuel efficient, gas-powered Civic available once it is released. With a 1.8L i-VTEC engine it has been estimated that the Civic HF will get up to 41 mpg highway. The Civic Hybrid is equipped with a lithium-ion battery and 1.5L i-VTEC engine and will get up to an estimated 45 mpg city/highway combined. Both Honda Civic NY models will be outfitted with special aerodynamic features as well as Honda's ECO Assist technology to increase fuel efficiency.

Also, the Civic Si has been designed to be sportier and more powerful with a 2.4L engine that may deliver 200 horsepower with 170 ft-lb of torque.
