The Project Forum on Actual Refining, Petrochemicals and Gas Projects

A true forum where key parties involved will discuss the real challenges and main trends

As part of the Annual April Refining & Petrochemicals Events in Moscow, this year Euro Petroleum Consultants (EPC) are offering a new, long-awaited event - The Projects Forum.

The Project Forum will aim to be a truly interactive forum focusing on the development of real ongoing projects in the Downstream Petroleum Industry sectors of refining, gas and petrochemicals in Russia & CIS. Project planning and execution issues will be discussed by parties involved in each stage - planning, implementation and management.

The event will take place on 11-12 April in Marriott Grand Hotel in Moscow, immediately preceding EPC's popular residue upgrading event Russia & CIS Bottom of the Barrel Technology Conference & Exhibition - BBTC (13-14 April in the same venue).

This time the organisers are planning to distance from the standard power-point-presentations-only format and allow more time for panel sessions with key players and discussions on all key areas of interest relating to the problems and challenges for project implementation in this area.

Day One will focus on the key issues relating to successful project implementation through all stages, in addition to the outlook for the industry in this region. Speakers and panellists will include AXENS, UOP, FOSTER WHEELER, IPA GLOBAL, TECNICAS REUNIDAS, SINOPEC, NEFTEKHIMPROGRESS and more.

Day Two will focus on discussions of actual projects being implemented and future projects. Owners, Licensors, contractors and design institutes will discuss real issues and challenges and aim to provide a comprehensive update on major planned and current projects. Parties involved in the ongoing projects of the leading companies in this region, including Lukoil, Rosneft, Sibur, Slavneft, Gazprom Neft, TNK-BP, Naftan and Mozyr, have been invited to take part.

Current sponsors of the event include INVESYS PROCESS SYSTEMS, GEA MASHIMPEX and REEFING.

This will be the 8th year that Euro Petroleum Consultants organise events for the refining & petrochemical industries in Russia & CIS "I'm deeply convinced that EPC's annual April Conferences can be considered an excellent learning platform for industry professionals and a perfect place for generating new ideas and solutions." comments Anatoly Artukh, General Director of NAFTAN and regular attendee of the EPC Russian events.

Being a leading independent consulting company providing advice and assistance through all stages of project analysis and implementation, EPC have the expertise in the subject, which guarantees another strong conference programme. In addition, their extensive knowledge based on over 20 years experience in Russia, CIS and Caspian countries, coupled with the long standing relations with many of the key operating companies, allows them to facilitate introductions between the delegates and create an event that guarantees effective networking with the right people, which organizers believe is one of their main advantages.

Valery Kouznetsov, Regional Sales Manager of UOP, supports this statement: "EPC's events are certainly the best for the CIS and Baltic States' refining and petrochemical industries. For me the most value is being able to meet so many clients and partners from Russia and CIS in one place. It is true that one EPC conference can substitute two months of continuous business trips."
