Simply Supplements Appeal For Traditional Herbs To Be Protected

2011 has only just begun and time seems to be already running out for some of the nations most loved herbs. Since 2004 many natural health supporters have been outraged by the implications of the forthcoming EU directive. The order that appears to be against some natural remedies, and is opposed to the long established use of traditional herbs is in the process of restricting access to some of the countries favourite products. This anti herbal stance has been revealed via the EU directive of 2004 which has been described by some activists as 'secretly' creating a plan to outlaw hundreds of traditional herbs; this act is expected to come into full force in April 2011.

Simply Supplements have shown their support by campaigning for years to try and stop the ruling going ahead and have shown their political concerns. The companies' belief according to marketing executive Annie Ivanova is that "people should ultimately have the right to chose if they want to take the herbs and not just be restricted to the option of purely pharmaceutical medicine", she maintains that they have "fought in favour of the freedom of choice". The corporation has spent a great deal of time petitioning against the rights being taken from their consumers for some of, what they know to be, their most loved and reliable herbal remedies. Many thousands of supporters for natural health have also campaigned to try and defend free will in their choices for wellbeing.

For growing numbers of people this government decision has been declared a 'conspiracy' and many hundreds of thousands of petitions have been signed. However, currently the situation against herbs appears to continue and may affect a great number of traditional remedies that many have come to rely upon in their daily lives.

Whilst the official and finalised list of effected herbs is currently unavailable, hundreds of herbs are currently under review at risk of being stopped.

These traditional long established herbs are selling out quickly due to the consumer's imminent fear of losing their favourite herbs.
