Mazda the company that promises to create cars that exceed expectations has announced it is releasing a special edition of its MX 5. The new special edition is ready to be release to celebrate the 900,000th sale of the small sports car. The Mazda MX 5 also known as the Miata was first introduced to the world in 1989 at the Chicago Auto show. It was a revolution in the sports car market as it enabled people to buy a two seater sports car at a reasonable price. The new model known as the MX5 Kendo is based around the current SE version of the normal MX 5. The great news for MX 5 lovers is that the Kendo will be available in both a soft top and hard top Roadster Coupe version. This allows the car to appeal to a traditional soft top and new trendy hard top audience.
Compare Car Insurance online Colour scheme is limited to a Black or Grey metallic paint but lets face it you dont buy this car for the colour! Also other good news comes in the form that the Kendo will have a few additional extras that you cannot normally get on the standard car. These extras include a Bose Stereo, Blue Tooth communication system and cruise control. These extras whilst quite common these days are great for such a small two seater. Technologically the Kendo MX 5 will be no different to the standard models currently on offer. The Hard Top comes with a 158bhp 2.0 litre engine and the soft top hits 124bhp and 1.8 litre engine. Unfortunately there is some bad news, the suspension is the same as previous special editions which is not great, and we think it's a bit of a poor show that they are releasing a special edition but haven't corrected one of the previous disappointing parts.

Now for the collector inside of you the Kendo will be made with only 1100 models going on sale. 750 of the stock will be the hard top version and a reduced 350 will be of the soft top version. Amazingly the soft top will only set you back 19,255 and the hard top will cost a slightly more at 23,220.
We are happy that despite the extreme success of the MX 5 Mazda has not decided to try and increase prices to cash in on their success. Long live the MX 5!!
