Arab dictatorships stand in opposition to Islam!
The Arab world, being predominantly Muslim, has been dominated with tyrants and despots for over one thousand and four hundred of years. At the time of Prophet Muhammad the Arab tribes consisted of twenty two tribes. In our times now there are twenty two states in the Arab world.
Ever since the time of the Prophet nowhere in Islamic history the concept of Shura, or mutual consultation including ALL Muslims and not a group of a counseling system, was ever practiced. Islam prescribes the principle of Shura which means direct democracy where all Muslims come together to decide their affairs, whether political, social or economic.
This principle was once practiced under the constitution of Medina between 622-632 AD. The Prophet called upon all Muslims and consulted them in the affairs as the Qur'an prescribed. They all gave their opinions and then the decision was taken according to the opinions of the Muslims.
Whenever there was a problem and the problem is not solved by reference to the Qur'an then all Muslims came together to decide on the affairs. This was true in case of wars and peace.
It was either that the law of Shriah or whenever the case applied the consensus of Muslims.
This direct democracy was an example par excellence of how Muslims ought to conduct all their affairs.
But what have happened throughout the Islamic history is exactly the opposite. Individuals, with their families and stooges ruled over the Muslims. The one-man-rule dominated the political scene in All Arab countries and Arab societies. This is true also to every Muslims state ever since the time of the revelation of Islam.
What we witness now of upheavals and disorder and discontent is only but the fruit of such a long history of dictatorship and totalitarian systems overpowering the Muslim people all over the Arab world.
In North Africa and especially in Morocco where false monarchy reigns, we have in Algeria Bouteflika who rules with absolute tyranny, in Tunisia where the corrupted Ben Ali ruled with absolute dictatorship, in Libya where the mad megalomaniac Kaddhafi rules with absolute despotism, and in Egypt where Moubarak is not better off than his fellow presidents and kings.
This is not to exclude of course other Arab states whether monarchies, princes or presidents. In every corner of the Arab states you have the same phenomenon. All these dictatorships and tyrannies are against the rule of Islam in essence and form.
But when God is forsaken for the devil man, whether president or layman loses his mind and sells himself to the devil in exchange of power, wealth and glory.
From now to now you have political earthquakes but the mighty Sultan ends up victorious and continues to hold his chair of tyranny.
