Foreign Based Pharmaceutical Companies
Foreign Based Pharmaceutical Companies

In todays modern internet age there are literally millions and maybe even billions of companies online vying for a market share for their product. Unlike the internet of 1994 todays internet marketers are savvy and acutely aware of how to market their products to the masses that inhabit the online world daily. Unfortunately their are some companies (especially pharmaceuticals) that believe they own the internet. Overzealous? Maybe. I would like to relay a recent scenario that has happened to me. The following is my account of the events leading up to today.

A few weeks ago I ran across a website while I was searching www.luvmybutt.com/ and what caught my attention was that the website title had the word bogus and in the description was the names of several web sites including luvmybutt. The site was referring to bogus reviews and forum posting etc.. Well I was a bit concerned as I should have been that someone was mentioning my website and product in the same breath as bogus even though they weren't actually implying that luvmybutt.com was bogus. So I sent a nice informal and cordial e-mail to this company which was West Marketing whomever they are. They are or were representing a pharmaceutical company based out of the Netherlands I believe and their product was in direct competition with my own brand. Their product is called Femimore which I had never heard of but is a buttock enhancement product. I gave it no more thought until today when I opened my email and staring at me from my computer screen was a very threatening letter, actually 2 of them telling me that I was illegitimate as is my product and that my company is not legitimate and that they could not find anyone with my name having a PHD. I never stated that I had a PHD and don't but I am a product researcher as I have stated prior.

Now they were threatening to "expose" me if I did not retract all my product reviews delete all references to Dr. Norm get my business duly registered and basically quit promoting my product LuvMyButt because according to them it isn't legitimate either and I don't have a license to produce and market the product. I guess they don't understand marketing very well or manufacturing either for that matter. 90% of all products are manufactured by someone else and are called "private label" products. Does this make them bad? Definitely not. If it was then most likely that washing machine, refrigerator, air conditioner and virtually half ofall products on the market today are illegitimate. Every major brand manufactures the same product as a private label item. That's just good sound business!

Now let me get back to the email. In addition to retracting everything I have said or done on the internet they wanted me to retract an article that was published by many syndicated article directories where I called into question the authenticity and manufacturing processes of pharmaceutical companies in Asia more specifically China, Korea and I believe I mentioned Cambodia or Thailand in the article. Now let's get in the real world, does anyone really believe that these companies have strict manufacturing guidelines or are safe products? Remember the lead paint on children's toys? China and Korean manufacturers! How about the baby formula that killed many infants because of lax manufacturing controls? That one just happened to come from China!! How many more instances are there? I bet there are literally hundreds most were covered up I am sure. So HELL NO I am not retracting a single word just because some foreign based company is jealous that my entrepreneureal skills don't quite fit their ideals.

Up until a few weeks ago when I first noticed their bogus review website I had never even heard of Femimore products or the parent company which I believe is Arizonias Bio or some derivative of that spelling. Until now I had never even spelled Femimore let alone published anything with their name in it. In their email they even included a link to a report they had supposedly compiled on the owner of BBB Formula.com and insinuated that if I didn't retract all my articles that I would be next. Now they listed his name, address, home phone #, even a background check which according to them wasn't favorable but I won't list their findings as I don't know their validity and really it's none of my business. From what I could interpret their main problem with this gentleman was that he owned the domain names Femimore.net, Femimore.co and Femimore.mobi even though they are parked they contended he was using them to siphon off their business. Shame on them for notsecuring those domain names when they launched Femimore.com. Unethical some may say but personally I think it was a very smart move. Would I have done that? No! Just goes to show you the ingenuity of the American Entrepreneur. So do you want to learn How to Get a Bigger Butt?

I guess I will now have to purchase their product so that I can do a proper review. Wonder if they'll pass the test?

Have a Good Day
