Also, with the right clicker training blueprint, you can employ plenty of training tactics to refine your pup's behavior fluency. Once the behavior is fully established, you no longer have to present rewards to your puppy. Treats are used at the initial stages of training to facilitate your lab puppies understanding of the clicker.
Question 3: Should I get a book on clicker training?
Answer: It is best that you acquire a full step-by-step course instead of books that are too text intensive. The course must include full videos to facilitate the learning and implementation process of training black lab puppies (or any other breeds for that matter).
