It all depends upon the individual but this article is directed towards the word of God and Faith comes in three stages no Faith, little Faith and great Faith.
We must understand that Jesus said God have dwelt to each of us a measure of Faith, so every Christian have it inside of him because God's word do not lie. The way it is activated is up to us and that is where the three stages of Faith come in.
If a Christian has no Faith that simple means he is not activating the Faith inside of him. If he has little Faith, he is applying it in small portions. If he has great Faith, he is actually walking all the time in it.
Jesus said if you have Faith as a grain of mustard seed you can move mountains. We can see from those words that it does not take a great amount of Faith to move a mountain so the key has to be in the activation of it in order for the mountain to be removed.
If we apply no Faith towards the removal of mountains in our lives then those mountains will never be moved. If we apply little Faith towards them, they will move but it might take a long time and if we apply great Faith toward their removal we will see change swiftly.
Mark 4:40 Jesus said, why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no Faith? A great windstorm arose, the Disciples became fearful and said to Jesus, do you not care that we are perishing. They did not take in account that their Savior was on board. They had seen many miracles done by Jesus but when they became fearful they had no Faith. Therefore being in fear Faith can not work and it would be as if there is none.
Matthew 6:30 Jesus said, now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more cloth you, O you of little Faith. He was teaching the People not to worry. When we worry we still have the ability to think so some Faith can come from it but it is small because of the worrying. It is not that way when we are fearful because fear paralysis and no Faith can come from it.
Matthew 15:28 Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your Faith, let it be to you as you desire and her daughter was healed from that very hour. This was a Canaanite woman who was considered a dog because that Nation of People did not have the Law of God. All her life she had known this but when a dire situation happened to her, she rose above her status and believed that she could receive a miracle. Jesus saw this in her and that is why He said O woman great is your Faith. Also notice that because she had great Faith things changed for her immediately.
We all have a measure of Faith inside of us but it is up to us to activate it. We can activate it in small amounts, in great amounts or not at all, the choice is ours.
