Browseui.dll is a file used by Internet Explorer to handle the various user Interface (UI) options that it has. This file is used extensively with Internet Explorer, and any other program which requires Internet access (IE has a lot of features which allow it to run embedded inside other programs), and if you're seeing errors caused by it - then it generally means that the file is either corrupted or damaged.
Browseui.dll errors normally appear in this format on your PC:
"Explorer has caused an error in Browseui.dll"
"Explorer.exe unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because Browseui.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
This file can be fixed quite easily by extracting a fresh copy of it from the Windows installation disc. To do this, you should reboot into "Safe Mode", insert the Windows install disc into your PC and then use the command prompt to extract the browserui.dll file onto your system again. If you don't have the install disc for your system, you should try downloading the file from the Internet and replacing it that way.
