It provides a challenging test of golf game in a breathtaking setting within the most delightful and scenic part of the Principality and dominated by the brooding presence of Harlech Castle.

is normally the home of one of the finest traditional links courses in the world. The undulating fairways and fast true greens are all that would be expected of a championship links course.
In 2009 the Club hosted the S4C Wales Ladies Championship of Europe, won by Karen Stupples of England, and the Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship, won by Azahara Munoz of Spain. In 2010 the TaylorMade R9 Driver club host the Welsh Open Stroke Play Championship and the Ryder Cup Wales PGA Welsh National.
In 2011 the Golf club hosts the Boys Home Internationals and in 2013 the prestigious R&A sponsored Jacques Leglise Trophy between GB&I Boys and the Continet of Europe.
The course will be rated 73rd within the Golf Digest Best 100 courses outside the USA, 43rd in Golf World??s Top 100 courses in Britain & Ireland and 45th in Golf Monthly Top 100 in the UK & Ireland in golf clubs.
