It will open the combs so you can force the teeth through the holes in your document. The PBS 340 is large enough to accommodate legal-sized documents. This opener is made entirely out of metal, so you're going to be impressed by its durability. It's compatible with the Renz DTP 340M, a modular punch.
These are the comb binding devices that are currently available from Renz. They're very similar, especially since they're all well-made and made out of high-quality materials. With the exception of the PBS 340, all of these machines have excellent punching capacities so you'll be able to get your work done quickly no matter if you're using a manual or electric device.
