Clean the door knobs, light fixtures and other belongings to ensure its longevity.

Pay attention to the walls: All the walls of the house should be cleaned and washed almost every day or so. Remove the stains (if any) and repair the cracks or damages. If you think that the walls in your house have started looking dull and shabby then consider adding a fresh coat of color. You can select hues from off-white, beige, brown, light pink, blue, violet, purple and many others. You can also maintain the walls by installing wall cladding onto them.

Gutters: Gutters are considered to be one of the most important elements of the house. So, they should always be inspected and repaired (if necessary) in order maintain the house. One of the easiest ways to maintain the gutters is covering them with gutter covers. If you find any leaks on the gutters, seal them with roofing sealant. Check out for the signs of wear and tear as well.

Garden: While a garden contributes to the overall beauty of the house, it should be maintain meticulously. Keep the garden free from weeds to help the plants grow healthy. Also, remove twigs, branches and other debris from the garden to keep it absolutely spic and span. Mow the lawn regularly and fertilize the soil on a daily basis. To maintain the exterior of the windows, you can also install sun shades.
