If you are posting on the forum then you can do it in similar manner and after posting on your website then can post on the forum. You can also choose free web hosting, some of them allow free image hosting. But most of them dont allow direct linking and will display their company logo instead of your image.
If you dont have your own webspace then instead of posting image you can paste the link of that image. By this method the genuine owner will get something in return for the bandwidth used and when people are redirected to his website then and the owner will get revenue through adsense.
