With the advancement in the Science and Technology computer has extended its reach and everyone is using the internet. But due to some of the undesired problems like virus, LAN problem, router settings etc. Most of people are not aware of this fact that Windows 7 reserves 20% of the available bandwidth for updates and accessing Microsoft server. You can use this reserved bandwidth by unshackling it in few easy steps. In this article I will let you know about the procedure for making free the reserved bandwidth.

Steps to free reserve bandwidth:

Click on the Start button and in the StartSearch box type Run (without quotes). Then select the Run option appearing in the Start menu.

A new dialog box will appear on your monitor screen and in the text box type gpedit.msc or gpedit to open Local Group Policy Editor.

Then in the Local Group Policy Editor window on the left pane click on Administrative templates categorized under Computer Configuration.

Now select Network to expand it, and then click on Qos Packet scheduler option appearing on the right pane under Network.
