"Hallmarks of todays customer are value for money and high quality with ever shortening cycle times which require business processes to be flexible and agile. However in IT organizations, change initiatives that propel engineering processes to achieve high maturity and best in class performance continue at a much slower pace. This challenge is compounded in mid-tier organizations, by limited data volume and higher variability owing to smaller client bases and varied technology/domain landscapes. Challenges made more difficult by the need to align improvements to specific client expectations.
CRUX, an in-house methodology at Collabera, helps to overcome these challenges and achieve high maturity within significantly shorter cycle-times. The crux of CRUX rests on its identification of client-centric homogenous clusters, alignment with organization goals, assessment of capability and approach to driving improvements. As each entity garners granular data, multiple cycles of improvement are showcased in each cluster. This results in more than 90% of the clusters achieving their goals with a 20% increase in pre-testing defects, and almost 100% on-time delivery to customers.
