On the voyage of love, you often encounter some rough tides. And if you do not know how to sail your ship through these dangerous tides, then your ship might sink as well. Your astrology experts may have suggested a perfect union of love between you and your partner, and your horoscope may very well predict these rough tides or pitfalls in advance, but it is still YOU whoo needs to sail your ship of love safely to the shore.

So, what are these pitfalls that you must avoid in order to enjoy a smooth ride on your journey of love? Let us take a closer look at them and find out the threats that they pose to the longevity of your relationship with your partner.

Money is NOT your Honey : Money the people who have more of it worries about losing it while the people who have less of it worries about acquiring it. Money is probably the easiest excuse to start off an argument as it is much easier to sustain for a longer duration. However, in reality, money is just a cover up for an underlying anger or fear.

Picture this: You got a solid drubbing from your boss at work. You come home and see new curtains hanging from the walls of your bedroom windows. You scream at your partner on how they spent a fortune on those damn curtains! In reality, you were just feeling lonely and wanted your partner to pamper and care for you.

The fact that our society puts so much of importance on moneys so-called imagined power that it can corrupt even the purest of love. So, the next time your partner yells at you and uses the excuse of money, try and look for the real underlying emotion of hurt or discontentment that your partner is feeling and everything else will fall into place on its own.

Insecurity secures Doom! : Insecurity is another pitfall that can spell doom for your relationship with your partner. While it is good to have some common interests with your partner, it does not mean that you cannot have your individual interests at all. Insecurity arises when your partner goes on to pursue their individual interests on their own without you. You feel left out and the feeling that your partner does not care for you any more starts to creep in.

In reality, all you need to do is understand the simple fact that while it is the common interests that brought the two of you together, it is not necessary that your partner cannot have their individual interests, and above all, an individual identity.

Change is Inevitable : Many couples fall prey to this pitfall called change. We all want stability in our lives and we are reluctant to accept changes, especially the ones that involve our loved ones. We expect them to remain the same whereas the truth is change is inevitable. Times change and things evolve over a period of time, and so do our partners. The sooner we accept this reality, the better it is for the longevity of our relationship.

The journey of true love is not so easy to undertake. You must counter these pitfalls tactfully and continue on your journey without giving up on your partner. So, whether your partnership with your beau is the perfect match or not is completely upto you to figure out. Go and have fun!
