Ours is a society that is driven by two things - money and technology. With money you can buy the latest of technology and ensure that your life is many notches easier. Every day there are newer technologies and advancements coming up which change the face of these equipment. So when new technologies develop, what do you do with these older machines? You have to dispose them in a way which would not affect the environment in any way. Recycling and computer disposal of e-waste is the need of the hour because this is one kind of waste that is not bio-degradable and can adversely affect the environment.

Laptops and computers are one of the fastest changing equipment. They are upgraded in about two months or so. So, every time there is a new model with newer, faster and better features is developed, you have to get rid of the older version and ring in the new. Thus, you should Recycle Old Laptops and get the new one.

The problem of electronic waste has been there since a long time and people are now getting conscious of this problem because it is one way which would affect the environment. Here are some of the reasons that you should recycle your old electronic equipment:

"You can also make money in a way. Whenever recycling companies buy electronic waste from you, they will pay you and some of the parts of the computer like the hard disk and the motherboard can also be sold separately as scrap.

However, there are some steps to be kept in mind before you decide to let go of you old machines.

1.Always make sure that you have removed any sensitive information like your passwords and details of your credit card information.

2.Removing all these data is not easy. It is mot deleted from the system even if you permanently delete it from the recycle bin. You need to physically destroy the hard disk. For this there are many software as well as special equipment like hard disk shredder, Make sure you use one of these

3.Remove all items such as Motherboard, CPUs, RAMs and Transistors. You can sell them off separately.
