There are wide ranges of techniques used for creating pharmaceutical labels that are affordable such as micro-text, security pigments, florescent inks, optically variable images and thermo-chromatic inks that make sure that the labels manufactured are impossible to duplicate or forge.

Many technologies are used in creation of pharma labels in combination with other security features to provide multiple layers of protection. For example a visible anti-counterfeit technology is used with high-level forensic or covert feature to give added security.
