Graduate Management Aptitude Test or simply the GMAT is a global test taken by aspirants to get into one of the 5400 management courses around the globe. The registration fee for taking the test is 250 USD which can only be paid online via credit or debit card from MasterCard, Visa, American Express or JCB. In case, a student needs to change the date of the test or postpone it to a later date, a fee of 50 USD is to be paid via the same means of credit or debit card. In some of the cases, if a student fails to appear for the exam or he cannot take the test, a prior notification has to be sent atleast seven days before the date of the test to get a refund of 80 USD.

Registration for the test can be done via four means- Online, telephone, Mail and Fax. Those registering online need to check with the official site and fill in the required information. The payment can be made via the methods mentioned above. Telephonic registrations can be made by calling on 0120 4324628 between 6 A.M and 9 P.M (IST). Another method is to download the test scheduling form from the official website and fax the completely filled form to +61 2 9901 3330. The payment method is same for all the registration procedures. Registration via mail can be done by downloading and completing the form found on the official website along with test centre and codes. The form can be mailed to Pearson VUE, Attention: GMAT Program, PO Box 581907, Minneapolis, MN 55458-1907, USA.

After you select the test taking date according to your own comfort and availability, the required documents are to be sent 3 weeks or 21 days in advance. After the reception of all the required documents, an appointment for the test is given at the GMAT test centre. All the details such as the date, time, and venue of the exam are sent to you well in advance. In rare cases, does it happen that the details do not reach the aspirant. If these details are not received three days before the exam, you need to call up the VUE support for verification. As an identity proof, the student needs to carry his/her passport at the venue of the test. No one is allowed to take the test without the presence of the passport, although it is not required during the application process.
