subject: Taylormade Rbz Irons Make A Difference In My Game [print this page]

TaylorMade RBZ Irons are the Irons I recently hit. They have been individually engineered to promote more distance, improved accuracy, and great feel. Coming off of a solid year of new introductions last year, TaylorMade has kept the new products and technologies coming with the introduction of the new RBZ line of TaylorMade RBZ drivers, fairway woods, and irons.

I never thought clubs could make such a difference in my game. I was proven wrong. I am more accurate and longer with each club. I like my old Mizuno MP-53 irons, but I'd like to try something new. Easier to hit than some of the other long irons and the overall look is more of an old-school driving iron and ideally suited for that mid to high handicapper that struggles to get the ball in the air and who also has difficulty hitting the longer irons.

As Taylormade says "Our longer is longer" might be a little something to that. I have been able to hit these much longer and straighter than cheapest Burner 2.0 Irons which I like very much. Each club is 1/2 in longer than a traditional club which gives you the extra distance but all the clubs are very easy to hit. You will notice that these clubs induce a small draw, which is really nice. The flight path of my ball flying extremely straight and I was hitting the correct distances that I had hoped for.

The ball flight of TaylorMade RBZ Irons was beautiful. Ballflight with my DGS400 shafted 4I really improved, lower and penetrating vs the original shaft. Distance was still very comparable to my gamers which is good. With the Steelfiber in the 7iron, ballflight was only slightly higher than my gamer 7I with C-taper and distance was equal. I was hitting into a 15mph headwind and there was no sign of ballooning.

The ball feels great coming off the face of the club a very smooth and solid feel with a nice sound. Maybe there is something to this Taylormade "sound system" where both and acoustic polymer and constrained layer improve the feel and sound of the irons. The solid feel of the clubs results in a high degree of confidence for me. I almost want to say it's like a mini fairway wood in sound and feel.
