subject: Fitness And Nutrition In A Busy Schedule [print this page] I have heard this a thousand times from so many people and it's all a bunch of bullshit! "I don't have time to workout or eat right." I have to strongly disagree with that statement as I am a contradiction to those very words!
Everyone has a job/career and a ton of responsibility to worry about. That is simply life as most of us know it. I have multiple jobs which do take up a large portion of my time, but I make the time to get to the gym 6 days a week and train my ASS off to stay in shape. I also take the time to cook and prepare a CLEAN DIET for myself so that I'm not grabbing fast food like so many people do because they didn't prepare ahead of time!
Get your ass into the kitchen and make some good proteins and carbs for yourself so u can lose that weight or add that muscle like you want to do. You can go hard at the gym every single day, eat like shit, and never achieve that look you want like you see in the magazines. Unless you can afford to hire a personal chef, it's all on you to get that done yourself because nobody is gonna do it for you! Here are some tips to make your meal planning a little easier
1. BE ORGANIZED
2. GROCERY SHOP WEEKLY
3. PREP MEALS AHEAD OF TIME AND PORTION THEM OUT IN CONTAINERS
4. GET A NICE LUNCH BOX THAT HOLDS MEALS AND PROTEIN SHAKES FOR THE DAY
5. COOK LARGE QUANTITIES OF FOOD SO IT WILL LAST YOU A FEW DAYS AT A TIME
6. SHOP THE OUTSIDE RIM OF THE GROCERY STORE
7. BE CONSISTENT WITH YOUR DIET SO YOU CAN ACCURATELY MONITOR IT AND MAKE ADJUSTMENTS
Those are just a few tips to help get you started in the right direction. I will get into specific foods later on, but just get started now!!! After you get into the habit, its much easier and effortless to put meals together and know what you need to do. Yes it will take a little extra effort to do all this, but the results you get will be worth it! Abs are made in the kitchen...this is true!! If you eat like shit, you will never get that six pack set of abs you want...plain and simple!!!
I have people come up to me all the time and ask me if I'm on something....the answer is NO, I just know how to eat properly and train the right way to get results....PERIOD! There is no secret to getting into shape and eating healthy, you just have to put in the effort and stay disciplined every day! You can't eat good one day and shitty the rest of the time and expect results. Make it a lifestyle and you will start to see the changes happen!
