subject: Immigration New Zealand Comes Hard On Crooked Schools, Cancels Student Intake [print this page]

Its no secret that since long a large number of the so-called educational centers and educational bodies doing a fine business from certain famous overseas destinations like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, etc., have been dishonestly drawing students from across the world promising them a bright future overseas.

That many such Private Training Establishments (PTEs) openly infringe the immigration laws of the countries from which they could be operating, to attract and get students from abroad, is also no secret. Only recently, a similar case was reported from the UK that though invited prompt action from the concerned British authorities.

Now the New Zealand immigration authorities have taken a rather hard stand against such private education providers, if certain reports are to be believed. The Immigration New Zealand (INZ) has taken a hard stand against fake language schools in the country and acted hard, via revoking their permits. It has been duly carried-out, post finding that the private education providers in question were violating the regulations and laws of the land related to the intake of the global students.

The INZ has reportedly handed orders for the cancellation of 4 private tertiary education centers in the country. According to the INZ, all the said 4 PTEs were allegedly defying the regulations involving the intake of students from overseas.

Investigation for alleged immigration con

Meanwhile, a concerned person claims that probe is going on to find-out the info related to those who are involved with immigration racket. In case they are found responsible, they would be put behind the bars. It requires to be duly stated here that all the 4 private schools in the Kiwi Land (New Zealand) were held accountable for certain discrepancies involving global student charges, such as shabby continuation of attendance records, besides ambiguous records.

There are widespread fears that such colleges could be sending the students from abroad into work in pitiable or unsuitable situations even as it could mean less than bare minimum earnings and/or longer work hours for such students by their abusive & manipulative recruiters/firms.

No overseas student registrations

The orders for suspension made available to 4 the schools by the INZ means that they wont be able to register any global students in the future. It should be appropriately stated here that such private tertiary education centers entice global studentsmore so from certain countries, like from China & India, via the assistance of the unprincipled immigration consultants. Such immigration advisors/consultants get a high rate of fee for school charges of every overseas student registered in the PTEs.
