subject: Forex Vs. Binary Options [print this page]

For all of us branching out from Forex to Binary Options there are a few differences that we must take into consideration. As opposed to Forex we don't have to worry about using different software, overload of technical analysis, spread risk and all the things that got us away from Forex. What we find with this new field of trade, binary option trading, is that we are now able to trade a verity of different assets such as commodities, currency pairs and stocks all with the same high-profit conditions, on a web-based platform where all we have to consider as investors is the movement (up or down) of the assets price, within a given time frame that we select. The main benefit is that even if the price of the asset we trade expires in our direction by a single point on the graph, we receive a payout of between %65-%80 of the investment amount all within an hour, it's important to mention that we can also choose to hold the option for a day, week or a month until it expires and at the moment of expiry is where the payout is determined.

The Binary Option platforms will give you a %0-%15 return of your investment in the case that you land out of the money and the graph expired at the opposite direction of your prediction.

It's important to also mention that with Forex we were required to start an account with high minimums, pay for additional courses and risk losing more the our investment amount in the case we take a wrong position with our trades.

After 5 years of engaging in the online trading community and as I have used many different trading styles and platforms, I found that with binary options the starting amount is the lowest as most platforms will let you start with between $100-$500 with the leading platforms actually offering you a low minimum to start.

No broker commission or hidden fees, therefore as long as you are not using any extra platform features that the broker offers you, the only amount you will use is the amount you fund your account with, which makes binary options a very affordable home-made business, and if one is able to really invest time into conducting market analysis that includes both fundamental and technical analysis, binary option trading can be even turned into a full-time job.

I've made a blog in which I document my live trades, strategies, tips and broker comparison, so in my blog I basically cover all the general aspects of binary options Mike's Binary Option Blog I recommend you to check it out if you are starting with this form of online trade.

I hope you enjoyed this article and if you're looking to start trading online, it's always good to keep your hears open and educate yourself so you're fully aware with what broker you are dealing with, what's the risk and are you determined enough to invest your time in it and make it a profitable form of a home business.
