The MPhil in Management and the PhD in Management from the Management School at the University of Southampton lasts four years if completed fully.

As a research student you will be registered initially for the MPhil in Management and are then transferred to PhD in Management after a period of satisfactory progress.

Minimum registration periods are: one year for the MPhil (two years part-time); two years for the PhD (three years part-time). In practice you should expect to spend at least one more year of study than these minimum periods.
