Gatebeck
Gatebeck is one of our smallest and quaintest parks and is surrounded by the stunning countryside; the site is peaceful as it is far from the main country roads. The park is open more than 10 months a year and is very popular in the summer as the guests see Gatebeck as a great base to return to when exploring the Lake District.
There is a laundrette, children's play area, library, a tarn for fishing and lots of woodland walks on site for you to explore. The town nearest to the park is Kendal which is a small market town with lots of little cafes shops and a museum for you to visit; there is a cinema and modern day shops for the younger ones.
Although it is perfect if you want a peaceful break, there are lots of things to do on site and in the town of Kendal which makes it a brilliant place to own a lodge.
