Good News for all FOODIES! San Diego's Restaurant Week is approaching.
To be held from January 13 through January 18 2013, over 180 restaurants from San Diego will be participating in the celebration of Restaurant Week offering savor 3-course meals at discounted prices. Over 140,000 diners are expected to enjoy international flavors at the restaurant week.
The lists of participating restaurants include 100 Wines Hillcrest, 333 Pacific, Anthony's Fish Grotto La Mesa, Anthony's Fish Grotto San Diego Bay, Bertrand at Mister A's, Blue Point, Croces Restaurant & Jazz Bar et al.
Price Range:
3-course meal: $20, $30 or $40 per person
2-course meal: $10, $15 or $20 per person
You need not to spend on tickets to enjoy this event. Just have your reservations ready at any participating restaurant and relish your favorite cuisine from the special menu for the event.
Pick Em Up Trucks
For all those who have not still attended the Pick Em Up Trucks exhibit that highlights the history and the advances in the design of pick up trucks there is plenty of time left to mark your presence in the event.
Rush! It will continue till January 27, 2013. Reach at San Diego Automotive Museum located on 2080 Pan American Plaza, San Diego, CA between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The American pickup truck has undergone great transformation since the days of construction work or heavy farm. Pick Em Up Trucks allows visitors a sneak peak into the evolution of pickup trucks. The exhibit features sixteen beauties including 1928 Roadster Ford, 1938 Bantam, 1934 Ford Hotrod (rat style), 1967 Datsun, 1970 Ford F100 Off-Road Racer, 1978 El Camino, and a rare Volkswagen Tristar Vanagon et al.
Admission prices for the exhibit:

Active duty military with ID: $6
Students with ID: $5
Children ages 615: $4
Children under the age of 6: Free admission
San Diego County residents and military with ID can visit the museum
for free on the 4th Tuesday of each month.

Adventures in Photography: A Century of Images in Archaeology and Anthropology
San Diego Museum of Man (SDMoM) invites history lovers for Adventures in Photography: A Century of Images in Archaeology and Anthropology, the exhibit that showcases some of the amazing untold stories of anthropology.
Organized by the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, the exhibition features sixty-four vintage photographs from the University of Pennsylvanias vast collection, covering more than one hundred years and six continents.
You can be a part of the exhibition till January 13, 2013.
