The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) is a national government body for scientific research. CSIRO was found as the Advisory Council of Science and Industry. It is engaged in research in diversified fields with greater focus on science. CSIRO operates 56 sites throughout the world, which include three National Research Facilities and more than 30 other research facilities. It also has a laboratory in France and a field station in Mexico. CSIRO also designed a Flagship to integrate, focus and direct national scientific resources. Currently, the organisation supports nine Flagships.
