subject: The Ecco World Class City Gtx Golf Shoe - A Review [print this page]

I have been playing golf for over twenty years and recently I decided to switch my golf shoes because I was recommended by a friend to switch to the Ecco World Class City GTX. When I first went online and saw that they were four hundred and thirty dollars, I actually closed out the page immediately. I then, out of curiosity wanted to see why they were so expensive. I headed down to the country club's pro shop and tried on a pair of them.

Once I put them on, I did not want to take them off. They were the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on, including any shoes I wear to work, for leisure, anything. I actually wanted to buy a second pair just to use everywhere but the course because they are that comfortable. I absolutely love this shoe and I actually noticed that my feet hurt less after a round so my last few holes of my round actually turned out a little better since my feet were not hurting like they always did.

The shoe is made out of one hundred percent leather and is completely waterproof, which is good for me since I find myself near the lake many times. There is an extra layer of padding on the sole which provides extra comfort. The cleats of the shoe grip the ground so great that my leg does not even want to move when I torque too much on a drive. The shoe that I have been using for years was the Nike Golf Air Max Revive because it was cheap, but I will never use them again. They always got wet, and my feet killed after every round.

Here are some product details on the Ecco World Class City GTX: http://www.eccousa.com/shoes/golf/mens/classic/world-class-city-gtx/1690/detail.aspx A friend of mine actually has the GTX Limited Edition which has many of the same features of the World Class City GTX which can be found here: http://www.eccousa.com/shoes/golf/mens/classic/world-class-limited-edition-gtx/2262/detail.aspx

These golf shoes are exactly the reason why you want to wear golf shoes. They provide everything you could ask a golf shoe to do. For a list of these, check them out here: http://www.golflink.com/list_1201_what-benefits-golf-shoes.html I would clearly recommend this shoe to others. It is a little pricey; however, it is well worth the money.

It has not only improved my health to my feet, but more importantly, it has actually taken a few strokes off my round. I play in a very wet region so I would need a few pairs of old shoes so that the next day they weren't soaked, but not anymore. These shoes are dry in an instant and keep dry. These are the best shoes on the market and they are a must buy for a serious golfer.
