subject: Compudon Season Iii, Official Competition On Microsoft Office In India [print this page] Last year, Bipin Kalra, the India Champion for MS-PowerPoint 2007 won Bronze Medal at the World Championship in Las Vegas, USA and Karanjot Singh secured 4th position for MS-Word 2007.
Young Indians have started impressing the international platform with their excellent skills in the second year of participation at the World Championship. We are very much sure of greater show of strength this year given the response that we have received for the Compudon Season III.
Habib Animatos has been entrusted to handle the West India region comprising of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa for Compudon Season III. Several schools have already signed up for large number of students. More schools are participating in this competition making it a cult in this part of the country.
ELIGIBILITY:
When participating in the Competition, participants must be students currently enrolled in an approved academic institution. To compete, students must be between the ages of 13 and 22 (as of June 15, 2013).
To participate, a student must submit a valid score on any of the following exam tracks:
Microsoft Office Specialist - Word 2007
Microsoft Office Specialist - Excel 2007
Microsoft Office Specialist - PowerPoint 2007
Microsoft Office Specialist - Word 2010
Microsoft Office Specialist - Excel 2010
Microsoft Office Specialist - PowerPoint 2010
LEVELS* OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP:
Qualifying Level: Eligible students from across the country will participate in Qualifying Level.
India Finals: Toppers with the qualifying exam score and time in each exam track will be selected as India champions"-- and will be part of "India Team**" for World Championship.
(*Only the India Champions with qualifying time will be eligible to participate in World Championship. USA trip will be subject to verification of student status and, visa and/or other documentation. USA trip is from Delhi; stay expenses and local commute expenses before or after the trip are not covered. Please read Official Rules for detailed terms.
