Varanasi, also known as Kashi and Banaras is the holy city of the Hindus situated on the banks of the River Ganga in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The oldest city in India, Varanasi has immense importance in the Hindu religion and is visited by a lot of tourists and pilgrims every year. Varanasi is well-connected to the capital city of India, Delhi by all modes of transportations like air, rail and road.

The main trains to Varanasi from here are, Neelachal Express No:12876 which departs at 6:30 am and reaches Varanasi Junction within 13 hours and 30 minutes at 8:00 pm on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, Ndls Dbrt Rjdhni Express No:12436 which departs at 9:30 am and reaches Varanasi Junction within 12 hours and 45 minutes at 10:15 pm on Thursdays and Sundays, Ghy Rajdhani Express No:12236 which departs at 9:30 am and reaches Varanasi Junction within 12 hours and 45 minutes at 10:15 pm only on Tuesdays, Kashi V Express No: 14258 which departs at 11:40 am and reaches Varanasi Junction within 17 hours and 5 minutes at 4:45 am on all the days, Shramjevi N Express No:12392 which departs at 1:15 pm and reaches Varanasi Junction within 13 hours and 10 minutes at 2:25 am on all the days.

Numerous domestic airline companies provide frequent flight services from Delhi to Varanasi. The travel time from Delhi to Varanasi via air ranges from one to one and half hours. Jet Airways, Kingfisher, Spice Jet and Air Sahara provide flights between Delhi and Varanasi.
